Even More Slashy Than "Lancelot"!
Nov. 23rd, 2008 12:34 am( Merlin 1.10: The Moment Of Truth )
Einstein and Eddington was absolutely gorgeous, by the way. David Tennant made me cry with his desire for truth and his angsty repressed Cambridge man love, and Andy Serkis was magnificently out of his tree, and MY ALL-TIME NUMBER ONE FOREVER GIRL CRUSH REBECCA HALL was beautiful with her lovely clear eyes and Quakerish ways. So, yeah. Catch it if you can, definitely.
Also, LET'S TALK ABOUT THE BSG PREVIEW, PLEASE.
Right, I should probably go to sleep now, but instead I am going to watch another episode of Band of Brothers because it has eaten my life, just like it does every other time I start watching it. Doc Roe, guys. And Luz and his eyelashes. RUINED, I AM.
How are you? ♥

Strawberry Fields, Nothing Is Real...
Nov. 2nd, 2008 10:35 am( Quantum of Solace - You should click even if you don't want to be spoiled, because there be delicious picture of Gemma Arterton! Scroll past the text! )
Also, my Tess DVD came the other week, and the making of is called "Angels and Demons". Ohh, Beeb, your publicity department must be such a cool and edgy place to work. BUT it is lovely, and the actors' responses to the characters were interesting (I love how everyone admits the twattery of Angel and how they tried to make him more sympathetic. CAST PRETTY: JOB DONE). I will have to cap it at some point because the light does strangely glorious things to Eddie's hair.
( Merlin 1.07: The Gates of Avalon )
SIDE-NOTE:
templa_otmena and I are convinced that if Arthur ever takes off his shirt it will actually cause our heads to explode. It took me a good few episodes to realise that Bradley James' chest actuallly *was* that broad, and not just armour padding designed to symbolically sugegst that Arthur is just a young man with too many responsibilties or something. HE IS ACTUALLY JUST THAT BUILT. We only ever get the glimpses through the Open-Necked Shirts Of Wonder, so if we ever saw it all at once I don't know what would happen. I think my TV might combust. Also, Bradley James was in the audience on Strictly Come Dancing last night! Hee!

AND FINALLY, since Merlin has awakened a thirst in me for all versions of this legend, what should I be reading/watching/Googling furiously? I've already downloaded Excalibur!
