Ohh, man. What is it with this show and finales and MAKING ME CRY REAL TEARS?

First of all, great relief that Ianto didn't die. Seriously, that was my main concern. And, for a moment, I thought he was going to go to the power station and radioactive himself to death (technical term). BUT NO KISSING. WOE.

Second of all, since when do I love Gwen? THIS IS A NEW AND DISTURBING EXPERIENCE FOR ME. That whole sequence where she was taking over the police and sorting them out, and RHYS WAS ALL PROUD AND ADORABLE, I just felt such warmth for her. And the Gwack was very low-level! And I did like to see Jack standing there like a pimp with an arm round each of his bitches, like one happy/devastated dysfunctional incestuous family.

HOMG TOSH AND OWEN. REAL TEARS. I LOVED OWEN FREAKING OUT. I LOVED TOSH NOT TELLING HIM SHE WAS FUCKING BLEEDING TO DEATH. I LOVED THAT THEIR VERY LAST EXCHANGE WAS RELATIVELY LOW-KEY AND NOT MELODRAMTIC 'I LOVE YOU'S. But the thing that really got me was her goodbye video. Ohh, she was just so light-hearted and earnest and lovely.

"I hope I did good." Ohhh, Tosh. *tears*

GRAY WAS EVIL. That's so sad. And BURN for Jack being buried for 1900 years. And yay for Captain John and his continued badassery! That little kiss on the cheek was sweetness.

In conclusion, good stuff. I do hope that this cull doesn't mean that we're getting Torchwood Lite next season, though. That would suck.

I just finished watching it on iPlayer, I've still got tears running down my cheeks. I'm not even that into Torchwood but have a real soft spot for Owen and Tosh... urgh, it was so unbelievably sad.
