His shoulders will slump, traces of blood and sand engraved on his features. Was this last bit set in the Holy Land, between the desert execution and the last battle bit? I mean because of "sand". I thought so but then I got confused because the last line had "trees" in it, which suggests Sherwood to me? But anyway:
