I watched eight because of OT3-ness. I watched eleven because of OTP-ness. I watched thirteen because...finale!! WILL AND ALLAN JOINTLY KICK TWO GUARDS OFF THE BALCONY AND THEN SMILE AT EACHOTHER. THEY COME RUSHING IN LIKE THE HEROES THAT THEY ARE FOR THE BIG FIGHT AND JOE SHOOTS THINGS. ALLAN SAYS "I'M NOT BEIN' FUNNY, RIGHT, BUT SHE'S BREATHING." WILL IS ALL HONEST ABOUT THEM HAVING BEEN ABOUT TO STEAL THE MONEY. THEY BOTH LOOK GUILTY WHEN THEY REALISE THEIR BIG GAY ADVENTURE WAS HAPPENING IN-SYNC WITH MARIAN'S DEATH. Oh, I love it.
Also, I have decided that Joe is the best looking in the fight scenes. He moves well.
ALSO. Did you know that the second of the Hobbit films is actually going to be an imagined linking film between The Hobbit and LoTR?? COMPLETELY IMAGINIED UP BY PJ AND FRAN WALSH? I am kinda dubious. Could be good because: 1. It's still Peter and Fran. I trust they will be as faithful as poss to Tolkien. 2. Characters that we know and love and remember! Could be bad because: 1. It could all go horribly wrong. Just, generally. And everyone would get cynical and it would just TAINT THE ENTIRE FANDOM FOR ME. 2. What if there are weird actors playing old characters? A non-Viggo younger Aragorn? A non-Elijah Frodo? TOO WEIRD TO CONTEMPLATE, I DON'T LIKE IT. 3. Weird directors. Like Spiderman guy or Alfonso Cuaron. DO NOT WANT. Here's the link.
Good choices, my friend. BIG GAY ADVENTURE AND ITS CONSEQUENCES! I can't believe they made us wait until "Ducking & DIving" before they shouted out to that.
Joe is made of the awesome, it is true. And I love how he gamely flings himself over tables and suchlike. He always looks so much cooler than Jonas!
NO I DID NOT KNOW THAT. Hmmmm. I am undecided as to the merits of this. Because of the dodgy actor!timeline, mostly. And I don't want the fandom to get tainted! But I was never *as* fussed on The Hobbit, because none of my favourites were in it anyway. And where would they find enough EPIC DRAMATIC ADVENTURE to make up a whole new middle!film? *is skeptical*

Date: 2007-12-21 01:31 am (UTC)David Morrissey! He was in State Of Play and Blackpool and Our Mutual Friend! His brother was my deputy headmaster!
... Austen? Nope? BUT ANDREW DAVIES BRINGS THE SEXING.
My reasoning is that it will be on in the evening, and I'll have spent the whole day lying down. IT WILL BE GOOD.
Ooh, which ep?
