Oh, the OWLs! Actually, it bothered me a little bit that Gred and Forge, much as I love them, did their awesome fireworks rebellion DURING AN EXAM. Didn't they make a point of NOT interrupting scholaraly pursuits in the book? I can hold no hate, though. Not against them. Fun fact: my friend's twin brothers are named James and Oliver.

Emma Thompson! And her big glasses and her sad sad tears. That scene between the Umbridge and McG on the stairs was made of so much win. My friend actually leaned over to me and remarked upon the stunningosity of Maggie Smith during it. Those were some sleek robes. She rocks so hard. Oh, McGonagall. How I love thee.
Oh, the angst of it all! Because they've been getting so close and is Sirius just trying to replace James but you know all this because you've read the books! And the fact that it was the last thing he said to Harry... Btw, where do you stand on the whole AK thing? I suppose it doesn't make much difference, dead is dead is dead, but still. 'Twas a bit odd.
The possession scene.. It was so perfect, but completely not what I was expecting. You're completely right, I was just willing him, all "Harry, you're loved, man!" And the clips of them when they were wee tiny things... I think I love tiny Rupert the most, he has a very endearing smile.
And Gambon completley nailed that scene, he was like a horse whisperer or something. I need a better analogy, because I don't really know what I want to say, but he was so quiet (THANK YOU STEVE KLOVES FOR NOT WRITING THIS) and almost pleading and... defeated is a good word.
