First of all, I totally heart Cillian Murphy. And Danny Boyle is my new god. Which is a pretty bold statement to make at Easter. Seriously. Sunshine is that good. Spoilers ahead...
( So if you wake up one morning and it's a particularly beautiful day, you'll know we made it )
Ooh, trailers! Okay, we had 28 Weeks Later, which looks better than it should. Rose Byrne, yay! Robert Carlyle, yay! IDRIS ELBA, fucking yeah! Emma, it's sexy angsty Vaughn Rice from Ultraviolet! The one who was in love with Annoying Jane From P&P! We also had Fracture, so yay! for Ryan Gosling, although Anthony Hopkins does seem to be essentially playing Hannibal again. Although, David Strathairn *and* Cliff Curtis? Film, with these Ferrero Rocher you are spoiling us.
When we were at the IMAX t'other day, Louise said she spent half the time watching my reactions, and when we saw Wicked, my sister did the same thing. I suppose when it comes to films (and TV and theatre and books and gigs...) I get pretty into the experience. I gasp, I flail, I put my hands to my mouth. I spend the majority of the time sitting there with a rather gormless grin plastered across my face thinking 'this is fucking excellent'. I'm basically a child.
And I capped the hell out of Wind That Shakes The Barley, so picspam tomorrow!
