Well there was a thing a long time ago in Canada about an Irish family called the Donnells who were massacred I believe but this is not to be confused with that. The only thing in common is the name. Anyways, the Donnellys are a family of 4 brothers who live in New York and are of Irish descent - basically their people immigrated and in they live in an area where all the other immigrants live and there's a sort of rivalry between the Irish and the Italians. Tommy Donnelly is the "good" brother who is trying to get an education and not get caught up with all the stealing and bad stuff that goes on but he will have to choose between being the good guy or protecting his family from the Italian mob-like guys. Olivia Wilde aka Alex from The O.C. is in it, but she's much better in this I think. And if you think the FNL pilot made you cry wait until you see TBD. NBC is showing some good stuff this year (as in, they air Heroes, FNL and TBD).
