Boys, Boys, Boys
Here be a Pretty Boy Meme I stole from
thedreamygirl
1)List your Top 10 Male Crushes at the moment!
2)Put a Picture Up for each one of them
3)Let your friends rate them from 1 to 10
4)Ask them to do the same and see if you have a crush in common!
Firstly, be warned that my lusts are as fleeting as the moontide, therefore this list is in no way definitive, mmkay?
10. Diego Luna
He manages to be both hot and adorable like a scruffy puppy.

Also, he can dance. This is HOT.

9. Kyle Chandler
This man has the greatest hair in the world. It is magnificent.

A profile shot to better appreciate the hair:

And this picture is just too yummy to leave out.

8. Cillian Murphy
He has freckles. I love him. Especially when he wears vests.

7. Milo Ventimiglia
I heart Peter Petrelli. And Jess. And this man's hair.

I have to sneak in a picture of 'The Bangs' aussi. It's not my fault if Adrian Pasdar also happens to be in the shot.

6. Clive Owen
Grrrr.

5. David Tennant
He is lanky and he has freckles. Sigh.

4. Christopher Eccleston
I think I will always love him that little bit more than I love The Tennant. I miss you Nine!

3. Ewan McGregor
There was a boy.... A very strange enchanted boy...

2. JJ Feild
This might just be beacuse I'm stil high from Northanger Abbey, but dammit if the man isn't adorable in every way.

1. James McAvoy
He's Scottish and he has freckles. And he's beautiful.

Oh noes, I left out Philip Glenister! Ah well, he's still My TV Boyfriend.
Also, there was an amazing Culture Show special on Arcade Fire. They covered Guns Of Brixton. I heart them so hard.

That ep of Grey's was so sad!
*runs off to brush Kyle Chandler's hair*

#9: Christopher Ecclestion. I have a soft spot for him because he was once the Doctor, but, I don't know, there's something about him I don't like. Maybe it's lack of hair.
#8: Diego Luna. Scruffyness is adorable.
#7: Clive Owen. Grr indeed.
#6: Ewan McGregor. I like the picture you put of him.
#5: Milo Ventimiglia. Two words: emo bangs!
#4: David Tennant. Would have been on my list if not for Jane Austen season.
#3: James McAvoy. Only 3rd because I have realised I've never seen anything he's come in. Not once.
#2: Kyle Chandler. Oh that third picture! *sigh*
#1: JJ! Teh cutie.

Emo bangs FTW!
You've never seen anything with James McAvoy in? Never? Not even Narnia? Right my girl, I'm going to have to eduacte you. If this means more cingage, so be it.
Kyle Chandler's eyes in that third picture! Oh my.
no subject
Cillian has good features, but I've only ever seen him in Batman Begins so I guess he's villian in my books. He does scary eyes too well.
The third picture is so good. It makes me want to throw my resolution to not watch the last three FNL episodes until I have finished my to-do list to the winds!

I loves him!

Also, the woman who James was in awe of but was rude to him should be slapped. Oh, what I would do if he told me I was amazing. *drifts off into dreamland*

He was also going to lay the lead in Goal! but he dropped out. I would definitely have seen it then...

Want to be friends??? :D :D I ♥ Blur, Philip G, and Bright Young Things.
no subject
Yeah, I love new friends! *adds you*
Oh, I miss Blur. I really like Graham's new stuff but it's not the same, dammit! And I must congratulate you on your sneaky use of hyphens to beat the '4 words per interest' system.
And Philip G... There are no words. Well, there are, but they're mostly dirty.
no subject
LOLOLOLOLOL. I was watching State of Play yesterday.....all lovely men together in one!!!
Do you like any of Damon's new stuff? I quite like The Good, Bad and Queen album, especially the song 'History Song'. :D
no subject
State Of Play is So. Much. Love. I made my housemate watch the whole series with me one night when we were in the grip of Life On Mars hysteria. There's so much male hotness on display that it's not even funny. Glenister, Simm, David Morrissey (Colonel Brandon! Eep!), The Mac, Bill Nighy, Tom Burke... Man alive.

Yeah, with Milo I was all "I need to go with the bangs" but when I found that one it was "Stomach! OMG!" So I did the decent thing and included both. And Squarejaw.

This might be my favorite photoshoot ever. It literally has everything.

Aside from Bleak House and Our Mutual Friend, I can never really get into Dickens adaptations the same way I can with other stuff. I don't know if it's because it all comes off as being too caricature or what, they just leave me slightly cold.
Also, have you seen the absurdly poor quality OotP trailer on YouTube? Poor quality because it's taped off Japanese TV, AWESOME in every other regard.
no subject
I understand where you're coming from. But it's not just the adaptations, it's Dickens himself. He wasn't much with characters, but he knew how to evoke powerful emotions in people. Hence, most of his characters are caricatures. The Dickens adaptations I've seen are the 3 Nicklebys, Bleak House, 2 versions of Great Expectations and A Tale of Two Cities. Out of those, the best were Bleak House, the Ioan Great Expectations, and the RSC Nickleby. The RSC Nickleby was very tongue-in-cheek, but did a better job, I think, at evoking emotions than the actual book itself.
NO I HAVEN'T! LINK, PLZ!
I'm basically dying for Monday here, and have been shifting around for good Heroes fics. Interested?

Hi-Def version unleashed tomorrow.
And yes please!

For le fics:
Know Every Person: Claude-centric! Yay! *misses Claude*
Traced Away the Fog: Let it just be said, that I love this one. There's no plot, just our very favorite Petrellis on a road trip. I lol'd many times at it.
no subject
Man, I miss Claude. Although angsty Claude fic goes a little way to filling the void.
Aww, Road Trip! I read it 3 times because it was just so in character and awesome and it had The Bangs blowing in the wind and a Serenity reference! And Nathan's politeness thing? Ach. I want this to happen! Except not really, because my Petrelli boys have to end up on different sides and Peter has to be a vigilante and Nathan has to be POTUS and Claire has to have brown hair. But still. Awesome.
*does excited flailing HP dance*

Holy crap, I'm so excited for everything.

OMG 3 MONTHS TODAY!!!!!!
no subject
EXACTLY 3 MONTHS! I can just picture myself in 3 months. At this point, I'll probably be done with the book. My sister will be coming home from Canada, and I'll get to flaunt it in her face that she probably isn't done, and I get to sqee/lord over her. Or I'll be in a corner of my room sobbing my eyes out, cursing JRK for an eternity. But I'll still get a shrine erected for her.

Your list rocks XD

James + Army uniform = a rather excellent film.

It's sad, but I know I'm going to have to see it on a big screen on the day it comes out...
no subject
Milo Ventimiglia, Clive Owen, David Tennant, Ewan McGregor, YES.
J.J. Feild only because I've just seen Northanger Abbey and he's way too cute in there.

Kyle Chandler: hee, *remembers him back in Early Edition.
Clive Owen: Yummy
Ewan McGregor: Don't know what else to say other than I love him.
James McAvoy: Love me some Scot, lol.
no subject
And I might as well rate them while I'm here:
10) Diego Luna - can't confess to having seen him in anything, but he's a good solid 6-ish/10.
9) Kyle Chandler - yay for the Early Edition! 6-ish/10 again? I'm picky.
8) Cillian Murphy - woo, an Irish entrant. Our men sure can be pretty pretty. A solid 8/10. Actually 9/10 just because of the girliness of him, which I really like.
7) Milo Ventimiglia - BE STILL MY HEART. 394839/10. 'Nuff said.
6) Clive Owen - Undecided. 5/10.
5) David Tennant - yes please! Tall skinny blokes for the win! 10/10.
4) Chris Eccleston - does nothing for me!
3) Ewan McGregor - Oh Christian. My little heart bleeds for you. 7/10.
2) JJ Field - OMG is that Fred from in The Ruby in the Smoke? Le sigh. 7/10.
1) James McAvoy - Do I see a pattern here? Could it be that you have a penchant for the Scottish in a man? I wholeheartedly concur. 8/10.
