I thought I wasn't going to like David Morrissey as Brandon because the only thing I saw of him was Basic Instinct 2 (*pukes her heart out*) and because Brandon = Rickman for me, but he looks soooooooooo charming and very suited for the role. ^___^
Ooooh, it does look very good although I will struggle to watch anyone other than Alan Rickman as Brandon...But yes, roll on New Year's day! I treated myself to the Christmas Radio Times t'other day (the indulgence!) and I must say it looks fairly disappointing. Sense & Sensibility is the only thing that excites me :(
If I knew who David Morrissey was I am sure I would be flailing about that too.
Also, I love how it says "And Andrew Davies...acclaimed writer of Pride and Prejudice". UM, I'M PRETTY SURE HE DIDN'T COME UP WITH THE ORIGINAL STORYLINE.
I didn't realise it was as soon as New Year's Day. That's cool. I will try to not be too hungover *cough*
Willoughby made me SWOON. I'm not sold on David Morissey after being creeped out so thoroughly by him in Our Mutual Friend but I'm prepared to approach this with an open mind. And he does look rather dashing...
Ha, the shot of her walking over the hill reminds me chronically of Keira in Pride and Prejudice.
Oh to be in England for Christmas Who! And New Year's Day Austen!
And YES. There NEEDS to be a movie called The Striding. It will star all the men from your List Of Lust (plus more I could suggest) and they will stride about manfully and ominously and do wicked deeds.
Oh, I love The Moz. Even when he's being creepy! And since this seems to be a recurring theme in my lustings, I should probably seek some sort of help...
WE NEED TO GET FUNDING FOR THIS. You've already basically written the script, so we're good to go!
OMGZZ. Jane austen films are the candy of my life. I heard they were making another S&S, but didn't know when it was coming out. Can't wait now to see it!!! Thanks for posting this!!!!!
I didn't know you were a Morrissey woman!! XD I must admit to being the tiniest bit excitedcurious at seeing morrissey's brandonthis adaptation.
Morrissey for me will always be two people: the STALKER Bradley Headstone and the ______ (fill in yer own adjective) Stephen Collins from State of Play. And yet...and yet. Hmmm...I just can't look away. Being all sweeping and carrying and swordfighting...ok, it kills.

David Morrissey! He was in State Of Play and Blackpool and Our Mutual Friend! His brother was my deputy headmaster!
... Austen? Nope? BUT ANDREW DAVIES BRINGS THE SEXING.
My reasoning is that it will be on in the evening, and I'll have spent the whole day lying down. IT WILL BE GOOD.
Ooh, which ep?
