Fiendishly Excited, I Am

Less than a month until Atonement! Everybody needs to read the book and visit this site, mmkay? That is all.

Go about your business.

It doesn't come out until December (limited!) here =(. I guess that makes up for me getting to see Stardust first =P.

Limited? That sucks. I thought they'd be doing a big Oscars push. *shrugs*

I'm gonna stalk the premiere on the 4th, LULZ.

Touch The Mac for me!

So excited too! Although what do you think about the casting of Keira Knightley? I dunno...I've never been a big fan of hers, plus I'd imagined Cecilia completely differently...but I hope I'll still enjoy it!

p.s. Plus, OMG MR ROCHESTER IS A GOD!! I adore Toby Stephens...he was just so perfect in that Jane Eyre

Re:Keira- I was so angry when I first heard, because I love the books so very much and she's... Keira Knightley. But then I figured, Cecilia's not particularly likeable a lot of the time anyway, and if anyone can get a decent performance out of Knightley it's Joe Wright, so I've grudgingly accepted it now.

Mr Rochester is sex in breeches. And I love Toby Stephens mucho. I swa him in Betrayal at the Donmar in June, and he was wearing very tight pants. It was good :)

Also, JJ Feild! *swoon*

OH MY GOD I SAW BETRAYAL TOO!
Wasn't it FANTASTIC? Although I have to say, I was really torn between Sam West and Toby there...there was something evilly sexy about Sam...I've loved him ever since that awful BBC Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

And YES to JJ Field. He's adorable...

EEEEP! It was so amazing! I mainly went for Toby, but Sam was so magnetising and delicious (and his forearms! Did you see the forearms?). Have you seen Cambridge Spies? Oh, and that bit where Toby's character talks about throwing the little girl in the air, and he looks up? I was sitting on the front row of the upper tier, DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF HIM. I nearly passed out.

He's lovely, isn't he? And you have a Fred icon! Have you read Shadow in the North? Gah.

OMG FOR SAM WEST'S FOREARMS...YE-ES!!!
Ahem...I thought he was so incredible in that scene where they were eating together and he was so ANGRY and toby really wasn't cottoning on...I just adore SW...

Cambridge Spis is amazing!! Patron Saints of Obscure British Actors! I think you're a member there, aren't you?

And massive gah for Shadow in the North...HOW CAN THEY KILL HIM??? HE'S TOO LOVELY TO DIE!!!
*off to find Sam icons*

I've read the book and been waiting on the movie!! This was a new trailer to me though...awesome! I think I will re-read the book before it comes out, it's been a while. ^^;

It looks really distressing. That tiny flash of a scene where you see the dead lying on the ground scared me for days after I first saw the trailer. I don't know whether it'll traumatise me or not!

I just finished the book today! A lot of the settings are as I imagined them (the fountain, the house, the library) and I love it that a lot of the brief lines we hear from the trailers were lifted straight from the book. Really excited too to see Joe Wright work his magic! Though I imagined someone like Emily Blunt to be more suited for the role of Cecilia, I actually thought Keria Knightley was going to be Briony when I found out she was in the film.
