Geoffrey Rush rocks my socks in everything, to the extent that I'm looking forward to Pirates 3 despite the inevitable diminishing returns and the pile of wank that was Dead Man's Chest. And I'm thinking, Oscar night, he'd have been rooting for Blanchett.

I love it when Colin Firth gets to be slimy! Have you seen Circle Of Friends? If you haven't, don't, because it's got Chris O'Donnell in it (with an 'Irish' accent- my heart bleeds), but he's a complete lech. With a moustache. It seems with Firth that 'tache = sleaze.

And every time I watch Ben Affleck in that film, I try so hard to hate him, but I just... can't.
