1. Considering that I'm sat here watching an episode of 'Home & Away' on YouTube dated at least three months ahead I'd say that the answer is pretty much in the bag. As much as I love Fletch and as much as I adored Billy, Tad et the rest there can just be no beating Summer Bay. I love the heady mix of drama, comedy, abs, ocean, supernatural ('Mr Stewart *pensive frown*... you remember your vision?'), rape-forgiveness, long-held grudges (and hate the short-held grudges, i.e. rape-forgiveness), beatings, hurt!comfort, explosions, MIC!, young true-love, old true-love (Beth & Tony forever) and Coleen.
2. That would be Wellington, New Zealand. Cannot think of a better country where anybody could grow.
3. 'The Heart Asks Pleasure First'- Michael Nyman. This used to be my funeral song and I haven't given the matter any thought in a while so I'll just leave it at that for now.
4. May have to go mainstream and settle for 'Back to the Future'. Have so many fabulous childhood memories tied up in the film and the series. Have only to hear the opening to the soundtrack and I am beset by goosebumps.
5. Both actors have done such a fabulous job (and are equally so very, very hot) that for me the archs and the story have gelled completely. It's what makes the ending at Bad Wolf Bay particularly heartbreaking- the fact that I can so very easily picture Eccleston there saying those very lines in his jacket. With that in mind and in regards to answering your question... hmmmm... I think that I'd have to defer to Nine. He's the guy who introduced me to this strange and wonderful world- no matter how many times my Mum had insisted that it really wasn't shit. He was intense and beautiful and his neck and if-we-were-lucky collarbone would peak out of those v-necked jumpers. Without him we may not have Ten and for that I love him even more.
