In a way it's remiss of me not to have friended you already! I have seen you around at various journals [[livejournal.com profile] wickedground's being one] and we have several common interests, English Lit being a major one. And a common appreciation for obscure British actors!

You seem like an all round awesome kind of person I'd like to get to know better, so I'm going to point you in the direction of my profile and hope the Kenneth Branagh quote acts as some kind of convincer, haha. Friends?

Hi! Gah, I am powerless to resist the Branagh, and am therefore COMPELLED to friend you. Curses.

Also, terrible 80s lloyd-webber moments. SO MUCH LOVE. And also the love for R.PATTZ, that silly boy.

Ken can have that effect. Although Emma Thompson did say they never had any kids because Ken was always so tired his sperm would have had to have been on crutches. Heh. She's just a whole pile of awesome, that Miss Thompson.

I confess, I have not watched the whole of the Sarah Brightman version, though. Five minutes of her ~*dramatic*~ facials and hand movements, and some stunning 80s orchestration via the recent movie's extras was quite enough.
